GETTING READY
FOR SET-UP OF YOUR NEW SPA

ELECTRICAL
REQUIREMENTS
All self-contained spas - 110 volt or 220 volt.
|
| 1. |
Your
110-Volt spa requires a dedicated, 20 amp grounded circuit.
Must be plugged into a GFCI outlet. |
| 2. |
Extension
cords are not to be used in conjunction with the operation
of the spa. Low voltage damage could result, which is not
covered by warranty. |
| 3. |
Your
220-Volt spa requires a 50 amp 4 wire dedicated circuit,
with 6-gauge wire (Two hot, a neutral and a ground) A GFCI
will also be required. See your system schematics for voltage
and amperage. |
| 4. |
If
you have any doubts, have your electrical system checked
by a qualified electrician. |
| 5.

SURFACE
AND PAD REQUIREMENTS |
| 1. |
Your
new spa should be placed on a uniformly firm and level surface.
(Preferably concrete). |
| 2. |
Pea
gravel may be used with a retaining border such as a 4”X
4” pressure treated wooden frame. |
| 3. |
If
your spa is located near sprinklers adjust or cap them so
as not to hit the siding of the spa. |
| 4. |
Balconies
and decks must be constructed to current state and local
codes and should support 75 pounds per square foot. |
| 5.
|
Gates
must be self-closing and self-locking. (California Requirements) |

ACCESS
AND CLEARANCE |
| 1. |
To
deliver the spa to your back yard we will require
38* to 40** inches of clearance through gates, between
house and side fences, and around corners, (Please
check for obstacles, gas meters, air-conditioning
units, etc) and 8* to 9** feet of over head clearance
(Please check the height of your eves) it is the
responsibility of the customer to provide adequate
access.

A
normal delivery consists of two men: they are not
capable of delivering a spa over railings or up
more than 5 steps (40” high.)
If extra men are needed we can provide them at an
additional cost. |
| 3. |
All
debris, limiting or blocking access to, or on set-up
site, must be removed prior to delivery. Any trimming
of trees or bushes,
removal of debris, leveling of ground or other general
maintenance must also be done prior to delivery
and is the responsibility of
the customer. |
| 4. |
We
do not remove any old spas from your premises or
remove in ground spas. |
| 5. |
Our
delivery crew will do a brief demonstration but
will not fill up spa unless prior authorization
has been attained. |
| 6. |
IF
WE ATTEMPT TO DELIVER AND DISCOVER THAT A CRANE
IS NECESSARY, OR THAT THE YARD IS NOT FULLY PREPARED,
THERE WILL BE A $300.00 CHARGE AT THAT TIME. YOU
WILL THEN BE RESCHEDULED FOR THE SECOND DELIVERY.
CRANE CHARGES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER. |

DELIVERY
AND SET-UP |
| 1. |
It
is impossible for us to guarantee an exact arrival
time; you will get a two-hour window for the delivery
crew to arrive. |
| 2. |
The
time required to set up your spa varies due to the
complexity of each set-up. However, 1 to 1 ½
hours are usually the time required. Please allow
for approximately 4 hours total on the day of delivery.
(All deliveries and set-ups are approximate times.) |
| 3. |
Read
your invoice carefully; you are not entitled to
nor should you expect, anything not written on your
invoice. |
| 4. |
If
you have any questions prior to your delivery, please
call Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. |
| 5.
|
Please
be advised: Deliveries may be rescheduled due to
rainstorms and other variables, which sometimes
occur. |
| 6. |
If
you need to postpone or reschedule a delivery that
has been set and confirmed we require a minimum
of one week notice, or there will be an additional
charge. Please contact the corporate office not
your sales person. |
